Back in 2001 Heather started her upholstery and carpet cleaning company Eagle Maintenance. She was delighted that the majority of her business was generated from repeat work and recommendations. “It speaks volumes” she said. “When a client is so happy with your work that they will pass on your details to friends and neighbours”.
In 2012, Heather trained her daughter Gemma in the business and now she is working hard following her Mum’s footsteps. Mum and daughter have worked together for quite some time and now Gemma has completely taken over Eagle Maintenance.
Based in Lagos, the company works all over the Algarve. The company uses professional carpet and upholstery cleaning machines using the extraction procedure. Often called "steam cleaning" the process is hot water extraction cleaning. This method sprays hot water with a very mild detergent and simultaneously, the water is vacuumed up, along with any dislodged and dissolved dirt. Many carpet manufacturers recommend professional hot water extraction as the most effective carpet cleaning method. Stains are usually removed by repeating the cleaning action, but we can resort to using a range of professional removal chemicals for more stubborn stains.
